The Food Allergy Association of Wisconsin invites individuals and families
to take part in fun activities and entertainment and enjoy a 1.5 mile walk
on a paved, stroller-friendly course starting at Warner Park. Funds will be
used for Food Allergy Awareness and Education programs in Wisconsin.
Food allergies impact 15 million people in the U.S., including 1 in every 13
children, and 1 in every 25 adults. Every 3 minutes a food allergy reaction
sends someone to the emergency department. There is no cure for a food
allergy.
Registration is free and activities begin at 9am, walk start at 10:30. This
is a FREE event; however donations & pledges are welcome. Individual and
walk teams welcomed.
Activities include a raffle, face painting, kid's games, as well as vendors
& exhibitors displaying products & services to families with food allergies.
